01 Overview

EatPlanet ("the app") helps you plan weekly meals based on your age, sex, medical condition avoidance preferences, lifestyle, weight goal, and dietary style (vegan, vegetarian, keto, OMAD, halal, or no restriction). The app does not request, store, or infer any medical or health-condition information — you tell it what to avoid, not any diagnosis.
02 Information We Collect
- Basic Profile: age, sex, height/weight, activity level.
- Lifestyle & Diet: dietary style (e.g. vegan, keto, OMAD), foods to avoid.
- Goal: weight goal (lose, maintain, gain).
- Location: the city you enter, used only to estimate local grocery prices.
All of the above is stored only on your device. We never see your medical conditions, allergies, or diagnoses — the app avoids collecting that category of information entirely.
03 How We Use It
Your profile data is used on-device to generate meal plans, grocery lists, and cost estimates, and to schedule reminders/notifications. The company does not sell your information.
To measure how many people install the app after seeing an ad, we use Apple's SKAdNetwork — a privacy-preserving install-attribution system built into iOS. This sends a non-identifying device signal to our ad partners (Meta, Google, TikTok) confirming an install happened; it does not share your profile data, meal plans, or any information you enter in the app, and it does not track you across other apps or websites. Because SKAdNetwork is Apple's own on-device mechanism rather than third-party tracking, iOS does not require an App Tracking Transparency prompt for it.
04 Third-Party Services
- Open Food Facts (Open Prices): the city you enter is sent to this service to look up local grocery prices. No other profile information is transmitted.
- Apple SKAdNetwork: a device-level install-attribution signal is shared with our ad partners (Meta, Google, TikTok) as described above. No personal or profile data is included.
- Apple App Store / StoreKit: subscription billing is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.
05 Storage & Security
Your profile and meal data are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes all of this data. Any data in transit (such as the city lookup) is sent over HTTPS.
06 Your Choices
You can edit or delete your profile at any time in the app, disable notifications in iOS Settings, remove all your data by uninstalling the app, and manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings.
07 Children's Privacy
EatPlanet is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 16.
08 Changes to This Policy
If we make a material change to this policy, we'll notify you in the app and update the effective date above.
